Valentine’s Day Poem

I hope you had a happy Valentine’s Day. I went through my old writings and organized all my poetry in one place. I’ll be fleshing out a lot of those poems over time and posting them. Here’s a poem for guys in long-distance relationships:

A thousand miles asunder,
but you hear rolls of thunder,
a storm brewing in your heart.
How you feel you have to say;
in words you can find no way.
Insecurity tears you apart.

Dear knight, look to the tower.
Now's not the time to cower.
You'd face bandits and dragons;
Why then, before the princess,
do you pale in cowardice?
Speak her virtue before she's gone.
